Does NOT compare to the Notebook!!!

The movie was fairly good over all. There was too much hype about it being better than the Notebook, etc. This is NOT the case. The movie started out really good. Then it was sad but then it just got plain out WEIRD and even more sad!! I was extremely disappointed!! Not what I was expecting and am sorry I saw it in the theater. I should have waited until it was out on DVD. But even then I would not have been too happy I watched it. Left me with an empty/sad/disappointed feeling when it was over. This movie should really not be compared to the Notebook. It is not even close! At least the Notebook was sad in a good way. This movie just left you depressed feeling. I would suggest watching something else personally.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
