I enjoyed the movie and the acting, but you had to listen very carefully to understand the dialog.
The movie was based in Fort Smith, AR and the Choctaw Nation near AR and OK, but was clearly not filmed there as the terrain was wrong.

I guess I just expected more. The story line was typical and I was just overall underwhelmed even in Real 3D

This movie was made for adults who are young at heart and for older (10-15 years) kids. It was funny and fun with many memorable lines. It was not too cute, but was clearly over small kids heads. Parents got a bigger kick out of it than their children. It's worth seeing and renting, but does not fall into the classic list of annimated films.

Good character voices always add to these movies. I do get tired of the same old stars doing voice work. Let professionals keep that work and let actors act for a living.
The movie had more humorous elements than I expected. I enjoyed it and lauged with the kids.

I expected a twist on the typical superhero movie. I was "lost" when Charlie Theron's true character was uncovered. I am not sure why this was not developed more...perhaps a sequel?
I enjoyed it, though I left it scratching my head.
