This Bond movie hardly gives the viewer a chance to catch a breath; the action sequences are very impressive and cool. However, I do agree with an earlier reviewer in that the opening action scene may have been shot a bit "too fast". It does not give one time to fully appreciate all of the action. Personally, I prefer Sean Connery's smooth, debonair James Bond persona, but Daniel Craig does a great job portraying the brooding, still "rough around the edges" Bond. I actually, like this one better than Casino Royale (although the latter has one of the most awesome running chase scences ever!). All in all, this is well worth the $$.
Iron Movie is a good comic book adaptation. Of course there are logical deviations from the original storyline, but any reasonable fan would expect and accept these changes. The movie moves at a good pace, with few dull moments, and (even more impressively) fewer "corny" moments which remind you that this is an comic book movie. The best thing about this movie-- Robert Downey, Jr.; he rocks as Tony Stark. The worst, maybe Terrence Howard; he's OK as Rhoades, but does provide a few of the aforementioned "corny" scenes. However, it's worth the wait and the $$. One big hint, stay until the closing credits are over. There's a VERY nice teaser there.
