This certainly doesn't go into my favorites list but it was a well done movie with the BIG surprise at the end. Left us with lots to think about. I loved Lehane's book and movie, Mystic River and also Gone Baby, Gone (which was so bad but so good I saw it twice!)
I'll bet the book was better than this movie - maybe not so "crazy"? I don't know that I would recommend the movie as it is pretty dark and many people don't care for that. I'd say, "Go to be entertained but don't plan to enjoy yourself!"

You Will Be HAPPY You Went!

Great music and comedy! Different from live shows because you are SO close to the performers. We listen to Prairie Home most Sat nights and we have also seen the show at the Fitzgerald and at the MN State Fair. State Fair is really fun on a beautiful night in August but this movie was a close second. I can't remember when I've enjoyed musical performances more! Be sure and get there early for Kellior's tour of St Paul. Especially fun when it is your hometown in Feb and you are in Florida!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
