I've been a Trekkie since I was a kid. Playing members of the Enterprise crew in the backyard.... I have seen every series, every movie and read more books than I can count.
Now I'm not a blind fan. I know when something sucks - Trek 5, the Motion Picture and Generations - come to mind.
But Star Trek did not suck. It was practically perfect in every way to quote Mary Poppins. I will be watching this movie a few more times in the theatre, and can't wait o own it on DVD. I'm listening to the soundtrack right now.
It was wonderful. Thank you.
