My friends and I all read the book, and decided to go watch the movie. We were very disappointed. Usually when books are turned into movies you know that there will be things that were in the book that would be ommitted in the movie. But Dear John took the cake. The storyline was completely different, even the ending is different. The only way that you would like the movie is if you haven't read the book. Giving it 3 stars because of Channing Tatum ;)
No, I do not recommend this movie.
