Such a Disappointment

I have to say this was one of the most disappointing movies I have seen in a long time. I had very high hopes for this movie. I just read the book and even though didn't like the books' ending, I really enjoyed the book. The acting was terrible! The main characters couldn't touch the depth that the characters in the book had. It was a combination of the acting skill level and the fact that the script didn't give you the depth that the book gave. It felt very rushed in developing their characters yet very drawn out. Some of the most important lines in the book didn't make it in the movie. Overall left feeling very unsatisfied and wished I hadn't seen it. Doesn't hold a candle to the Notebook!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
