High Tech Glorified Violence

Just two things distinguish Avatar from all the old time cowboys and Indians B movies: high tech special effects and the Indians (whoops Na'vi) win. The battle sequences were overly long and just plain boring if you could forget they were depicting death all around. Where the plot is not just plain simplistic, it's fool of holes and unexplained twists and turns. My spouse and I were not impressed.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
