Who stole "The Lightning Thief?"

It hardly resembles the book at all. For someone who has not read the books this movie will be a great one to see and it will be enjoyed. It is very entertaining. For the person that has read the book, it is a disappointment. This could have been a new franchise like Harry Potter but this movie, while good, was not carried to it's full potential. The largest percentage of people that will rent this on video are the people that missed it in the theater. It's not worth seeing twice. Someday, I hope that someone is able to take this book and redo it. This could have been huge! Instead, it's just good.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
