The storytelling is excellent, of a fairly classical story, with supurb technical effects. Both the 3D and CGI were kept mostly invisible (not too many "Duck the object thrown at audience" situations and no "Look how neat my CGI is" scenes), but were used effectively telling the story. Made me wonder where in New Zeleand one can find the floating mountains and where such great 10-foot actors were found.
This is Science Fiction, not Science Fantasy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
