Perfect winter action popcorn flick. The pace moves, the performances are good, things go bang, and the plot is a major improvement on the last IMF outing. Very satisfying for action fans looking for a diversion

Great Adaptation

When I heard they were making a movie out of the bestselling book, I thought they were crazy because Moneyball seemed so unfilmable. But they not only made a movie out of it, it's a really good one that should be enjoyable for both the casual moviegoer and baseball fans alike.
The performances are great and the screenplay is really good...though that's hardly a surprise with a script by Sorkin and Zaillian. Definitely worth the money.

A Unique Experience

At a time when Hollywood fare has become all too predictable, Avatar offers an admittedly familiar plotline in an entirely new way. The format and the special effects are spectacular, and for that alone, I recommend seeing it. But don't leave it to a regular screen--to see this one in the best light possible, IMAX 3-D is a must.
