Great CGI - Simplistic Plot

Visually, this movie is stunning. I waited to see it in IMAX 3D.
Go to see this for the special effects and the "personal relationships" in the story and try to ignore the standard "evil corporate military complex" garbage. Why does Sigourney Weaver always end up battling evil corporations on other planets? The plot is a mix between Pocahantas & Fern Gully, but set on another planet.
It will be interesting to see if this 3D is a passing fad, the wave of the future, or something to be saved for movies truly deserving of the effects.
Cameron stole some old props - many of the aircraft and machines look like the ones from Terminator, but with humans controlling them.
If you are succeptable to motion sickness, don't see it in 3D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
