I had my doubts. Hype sells movies, but it also makes me cautious. I won't say that this is the best movie that I've ever seen. It is overdone in many respects and some of the acting is silly, but visually, it is stunning. Imagine fields of exotic plants and tropical forests lush with vines and verdant green moss covered fallen trees, bionic ferocious animals, exotic elongated "people" that ride flying dragons, coffin-like transformers that turn "us" into "them"--all quite fantastical and worth a watch, for sure. The 3-D was exciting and fun. Quite a ride.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
