The movie wasn't fantastic but it was entertaining. Plenty of action and I quite like the hand held camera ploy, gives it a little more life. To all those who thought it was leftist propaganda, it wasn't, it was a Hollywood movie meant to entertain, not educate. Just remember that when you go to see it.

Not as good as the original

No where near as good as Martin Campbell's 1985 original for the BBC. That version starred the late Bob Peck as Craven and Joe Don Baker as Jedburgh. May have lacked the advanced special effects but it had more sinister undertones and didn't star the useless Mel Gibson. That said, if you haven't seen the original and you can put up with Gibson, it's worth seeing if there's nothing else on.
