Incredible visual experience well worth seeing, but trite story packed with clichés and dialog to match.
"Dances With Wolves" with a twist.
But never mind, it was eye candy to the extreme. James Horner's score was among his worst too. You could hear echoes of "Titanic" and "Dances With Wolves" in it.
Clearly he wasn't stimulated to do his best.
Still, Cameron is a genius at producing popular entertainment embraced by mass audiences.
Rent Synedoche, N.Y if you wan to see a really strange but exceptionally well done movie! Just don't expect to understand what's going on until it's almost over...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
