Aside from the cliche, populist plot and undercurrents (evil corporation, overzealous military, forbidden love, save-the-planet, etc.) this is a must see movie because it will change how 3D is received in the market place. The quality of the seamless animation between CG and human actors combined with the impact of 3D will drive the demand for 3D broadcast television and future 3D cinematic productions. 5 stars on the production quality and awe-factor, 3 stars on the story. However, if the story line required thought it may have been too much to process at once! Kudos to James Cameron for changing a movie from entertainment to an experience.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
