Well, I know I'm in the minority here, but I did NOT love this movie. I didn't intend to see it, but my husband saw it, loved it, and thought I should see it, too. Let me first say that I am very sensitive to violence in any form. I knew going into this movie that there would be violence, but I was not aware of the extent of it. This is really a glorified war movie. The beauty of the 3D Imax experience was outweighed by the violence and basic story line. There are a lot of stock characters in the film. All in all, I wish I hadn't watched it, but I gave it three stars because there are some truly beautiful/breathtaking moments with the 3D effects. If you are a sensitive person, though, I would steer clear of this film.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
