Great special effects. Very entertaining. Preachy movie and full of cliches. Well acted. Well directed. The pace was good and the movie did not feel as long as it was. I saw it with my younger son and he did not notice the movie being too long. The script, however, was pretty stock and unoriginal. Full of cliches done fairly well but predictable none-the-less. Thank God for the technology. That was the highlight of the movie. So life-like and convincing that the CGI I accepted the CGI characters as the same as the non-CGI characters. The script let it down. Very predictable. Has Cameron become the new George Lucas (but a better director)?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
