Great, but too violent for young childfren

I found it fascinating but the violence seemed harsh to me. There were many very young children attending the showing and I felt sorry for the parents. Perhaps we are all just desensitized to such violence. The special effects were outstanding. For a non-Potter 64 year old fan I found myself entertained but uncomfortable with the violence.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
