Joyce M. Cox and her company (producers of the visual effects) deserve the highest honors. I have not been to a movie theater in over 3 years and I was so visually impressed....I am going for the IMAX experience next. The story was heart-wrenching. I agree, after an hour, you really did not care about the 3D...the colors on the screen had be glued to it. Even without a good story....the movie experience was spectacular.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
