Good choice for boomers

I'd heard mixed reviews of this movie, but went with my wife. We are both around the same age as the main characters - late 50s. I think that helped, since we could relate to a lot of the dialogue. A younger woman sat in front of us and left with about a half hour left in the movie. I had to see the end. The best surprise here for me was Steve Martin. Except for a short manic episode (which is hilarious, by the way), he played a serious character, and did so very well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
