great 3-D experience

I hadn't been to an IMAX movie in quite a few years, so it was very nice to return to the huge screen for a movie like this. The 3-D version is definitely the way to go, if you haven't seen the movie yet. Great visuals, and despite the fact that the story was very dervivative (think "Dances with Wolves" meets "Star Trek" without the prime directive!), I thought that the movie went rather briskly. Sigourney Weaver was great, as usual, and I barely recognized Stephen Lang as the nasty colonel--I remember him from a great eighties TV series, "Crime Story". I recommend the movie to anyone who likes science fiction, fantasy, or adventure movies.
