great effect--3D aspect average--good plot line with iconic figures of capitalist, militarist, scientist, princess--great message of being in tune with nature and bonding with the earth, animals, other people--disservice to make "oppressed" civilization so romanticized and one-sided, the "noble savage" stereotype--amazing that a white guy could learn an entire civilization's culture in about 3 months--parallels with European decimation of Native Americans etc.; role of diplomacy vs. destruction--good to talk about in discussion that goes beyond Star Wars battleship fights
Yes, I recommend this movie.
