An entertaining movie with quite a range of character interpretations however I expected so much more that I was disappointed. There were a number of times that I was bored. Depp was great but I never felt that Alice or the white queen added anything. I prefer the Disney animated version and think that Burton borrowed generously and wisely from that film. Still a better than average film.

I went to see the new techniques used to make this movie and was completely blown away. I actually thought the 3D worked great and enhanced the viewing. Much of the plot has been used in other sci fi thrillers but it had several twists and turns that made it seem fresh. I was prepared to walk out of the movie if I became restless but I thought the action never stopped and enjoyed the movie from start to finish. I would have given it 4 1/2 stars if it was possible.By the way no body else in the place got figidity either
