Very Enjoyable Movie

Although the plot was not original (reminded me of Dancing With Wolves and a few other American Indian stories), I enjoyed Avatar and have recommended it to family and friends. They will all go see it, because I rarely, if ever recommend any movie. They were surprised to hear my recommendation. The sound effects were way overdone and much too loud.
The 3D wasn't as good as the 3D movies I remember from my youth.
I have stopped going out to the theaters to enjoy a movie, because the audio is unbearable. My ears can not take the loud sound, and the "noise" takes away from the movie.
I wonder how much revenue is being lost for the Film industry, as I am not the only one who feels this way.
