I'm writing this review from my 10 year old son. He loved it, and said he was even scared in some parts (esp. when he didn't know if Tony would be "cured"). He enjoyed the action and the story.
From me - his 40 yr. old mom - I'd say it was a tad long, and not as "action packed" as the first one - the first one just hits you in the guts in the first 30 min. I liked the story-line of this one, about his dad/childhood, and the "romance" and a little intrigue. And, going to see it with the family, and knowing my son enjoyed it, makes it worth 5 stars!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
