Intense!

I made the mistake of choosing this movie for a first date! The sex scene should have made it rated X. However, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and afterward, I needed a glass of wine to relax. Wow! This movie is incredible...not for the faint of heart. Much excitement and surprises. This is not even a movie I could describe to others! Totally a surprise. Natalie deserves an Oscar for her performance! Expect to see something different than you have ever seen!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

At first, the three of us widows were not too sure if it was going to go into some weird stuff...but it did not. Several stories were woven to become one and it just depends on each person if they like it. Loved Matt Damon, of course, but the little boy was outstanding in his role. Sure, the tsunami scene was incredible, but we did not feel that it went downhill from there. It was very interesting. I would say to give this movie a chance and keep with it as it follows each story.

We had a girl's day out with 5 of us and we had looked forward to a fun movie as we love, love Julia Roberts. Sadly, we were all left with disappointment. It seemed like a dark downer to us. Even the scenery was not as spectacular as we had hoped. The other characters in the movie were dull. There was great potential for this movie, but it missed it.
It was 1/2 hour too long. If only Julia had had some really bright spots somewhere in the movie that you could believe. I am glad we saw it, but we were let down. Sorry, Julia! We still love you!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
