I am not a big fan of paying to go to the movies. I generally wait until they come out on dvd and rent them. However, for some reason, this movie snagged my attention.
First the animation is done very well. It would be good in flat showing but is fantastic in 3D.
Second, Character development was very complete. You cared about the main characters. The secondary characters were established o.k. but were not as complete.
Third, action and music was excellent and I want the soundtrack.
I paid a high price for a movie just last week and it was not worth the money. However, this movie I felt was worth it and the theater may even get my money a second time to go see it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie may not be for everyone, there are some strong messages present in this movie and if your not going to be open, or if you seriously toe the line of the conserves you shouldn't see this movie. However, we're talking special effects that are more spectacular in IMAX 3D. The message of the plot, I feel, is definitely a message we all need to hear. I think James Cameron is a genius for this movie and am hoping there will be more of it's kind coming soon.
