OMG it was Amazing!!!

Being a Science Fiction fan. And loving Special Effects. I planned to go See James Cameron's AVATAR anyway.
But, I had the opportunity to take 2 of my GrandSons to see Avatar3D in IMAX.
Wow! FIrst of all, the improvements in 3D over the old Red & Blue versions we saw as kids is excellent. When Sam Worthington's Avatar character walked up to the edge of the cliff where the dragon-like characters were and looked down...I had a deathgrip on the armrests of my seat trying not to fall over the edge. Secondly, it made you feel like you were standing there beside the characters whether flying thru the air or sitting under the tree of life in the forrest.
I love SciFi and Good special effects. But this movie left me breathless.........
