Avatar was a bit of a mixed bag for me. It was too long. It could have used some editing, like cutting out 15 or 25 minutes. Plus the script is pretty weak and the actors seem lost in space. That said, I don't think people are seeing Avatar for it's script or acting. It does deliver on its visuals. It is a beautiful film to watch and the world James Cameron has created is breathtaking. The 3D IMAX experience was amazing and I highly recommend people see it in this capacity.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
