Great effects, blah story

The effects in this movie were awesome. Me, my wife, and 10 year son all saw the movie, and agreed that 2 1/2 hours went by fairly fast, and the action and scenerie were fantastic, but the story was fairly predictable with few twists. Would have liked to see more character building. Will I watch it when it comes out on DVD? Sure. Still great effects.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
