Almost there!!

I went to see this with my wife and son. My son has never seen the original so he thought it was 'cool'. I like how they tried to stich the new film to the old one, almost there!! In the original, I thought it was the fact that humans almost wiped them selves out by atomic/nuke bombs? The twist this film used was the helpful virus that went wrong killed off most humans. I can only assume that we 'humans' got dumb later (if you have seen the original film).
Putting that to one side.. Great film and great effects even if some effects were to 'clean' being CGI..
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I enjoyed this movie. Alll the characters were good, with Elena Bonham Carter, being the most outstandling. Johnny was good too.
The deck of cards were awesome. The 3D IMAX sound according to my spouse was excellent.

What a film!!

The quality of the CGI along with the 3Dand the Imex just blew me away! he story was really well done and the special effects on the facial expressions was (pardon the pun) out of this world..
The time and effort that went in to this film was definately worth it. I would recommend this film for any one of any age..
