This film was a phantasmagorical journey that allows one to free fall with Alice into a dream-world filled with hopes, wishes and fears. The acting was on spot with the theme and nature of nonsense in L. Carroll's original story. The cinematography and special effects very up to date and spellbinding. Not necessarily the most profound film ever but certainly a worthwhile and whimsical form of escape entertainment. I give this film four stars.
