The brilliantly created world of Pandora and its storyline are highly entertaining. The CGI, graphics, and special effects are astounding. I found the themes of inter-connectedness appealing, but fairly rote and predictable. I also find it somewhat ironic that the film expounds on the evils of corporate greed and militarism, yet the war scenes near the end clearly appeal to an audience enamored of special effects depicting this type of "action." Still, I came away from the movie with visions of the searing beauty of the fantastical world of Pandora etched in my conciousness. I recommend this movie as en extraordinary visual experience, a harbinger of the future of film-making.
