My wife and I loved this movie. One doesn't necessarily view a period drama with the expectation of being emotionally moved, but the story of Victoria is told from a personal perspective that is very tender and moving. The love story between Victoria and Albert is told with such artistry that the depth of their intimacy is conveyed without descending to explicit depictions. Refreshing! Why can't there be more movies like this?
