Amidst tough times, Hollywood's been playing it safe with remakes that ride the coattails of the original. How boring! Avatar represents a bold, brave dive, head-first into the future of filmmaking. Worth every ballsy bit its cool $200m price tag! Hearing praise about any movie conjures high expectations which inevitably yield disappointment by the time the credits roll. With Avatar, however, my greatest expectations set the bar too low! Every element is solid & the themes are important & relevant to modern times. Above all, the IMAX experience puts you inside the story. It's visual ice-cream and, more so, as if you can smell the new world and feel it with your fingertips too. Do not wait to rent this movie. It's history in the making!
