The most impressive aspect of the movie was the detailed CGI of the female protagonist. Otherwise, the plot was predictable and the underlying themes were jejune, at best. (And in IMAX 3D, the flight scenes were nauseating for anyone with a propensity to motion sickness.) All in all, there are certainly better ways to spend three hours of one's life.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
