Best adaptation of a book!
Although I knew the plot, I was engrossed in it all over again. Wonderful acting, scenery,and rhythm.A rare combination of suspense with a heart. The Gory scenes were softened with deep emotional moments. Definitely a must-see!
I was also amazed by the enthusiastic reaction of the American crowd , which is known to shy away from foreign movies with subtitles. You have certainly come a long way!!

I don't like movies that exploit the audience's feelings toward a specific event or a contemporary situation.

A terrible take on Conan Doyle; excessively and unwarranted violent, stupid, untrue to the general style of the books. Obviously a version for the young, immature audience of today. The anti thesis to entertainment .
