This was a really great movie, and you have to see it in IMAX 3D to really experience all the movie has to offer. The story itself was pretty simplistic and predictable, with some of your stereotypical characters, but I think that the main characters and the cinematography makes up for it. You really get drawn into it, and WETA (I believe the same people who did the Lord of the Rings trilogy visuals) did a great job of making the world of Pandora come to life.
Overall, it's an interesting, engaging, and visually appealing new iteration of the old tale of profit-driven people destroying an indigenous population.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
