I definitely recommend watching this movie in 3D, everything from creatures and plants to landscapes is terrific. The plot overall holds together until the very end, though it is kind of obvious what will happen from the very beginning: invaders with technology and no respect for what they do not know and understand versus sensible creatures that understand they are part of a whole that is in a delicate equilibrium. Technology versus ecology... humans versus nature... 1500's European colonizers versus native Americans or Africans. Overall, the movie is perfectly well done and entertaining. I just wish mother Earth = Gaia = Pachamama could teach us the same lesson humans learned in the movie when they began messing up the ecosystem too much!
