James Cameron has used groundbreaking special effect technology to create a beautiful and fully realized 3D world. Unfortunately it is populated with two dimensional characters plodding through a trite, unimaginative, and utterly predictable plot that has already been done countless times before.
Of course, if you liked titanic, then you'll probably like Avatar as well.
