It's Worth Seeing, BUT...

The special effects in this movie were truly amazing, but the plotline was thin, predictable, and completely unmemorable. The characters were mostly 1-dimensional without a lot of development. Still, I do recommend that you see it just for the visual effects, which were truly seemless in creating this beautiful exotic new world, and it's definitely something you want to see on the big screen; the small screen will not do it justice. Also, make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time, the theaters are still selling out.
Bottom line: A+ for special effects, C- for plot.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
