I was expecting something along the lines of the second movie with the Joker. This one had some unnecessary dialogue and the first hour was boring. The best part of the movie was in the last hour and the fight between the police and prisoners prior to that. Anne Hathaway made a great Catwoman however, but I don't think Bale was all that effective as Batman, too tame. I was also disappointed that Bain was not the main "bad guy." And it was sometimes hard to understand him behind the mask. I wouldn't recommend this movie but I wouldn't discourage anyone from seeing it so they can draw their own conclusions. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 6.
