A solid 3 out of 5. The last 45 minutes are boring as heck. The movie has no originality. It is worth seeing for the graphics, though 3D really doesn't add much to it. If anyone complains about "political statements" I counted exactly two, and they were oblique at best.
It's not Oscar material - nor the Golden Globe it just won. Go see Precious.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
