Great Cinematograpy

For a SciFi fanatic since the 60's, this was a movie with wonderful visuals and a deficient plot. Boy gets/loses/gets girl, indigenous people beat superior forces, existing culture wins because alien knows more than they do. Cliche after cliche. The best part was the 3D and the scenery, the worst was the "we can do it" speech and the apache war cries. Oh, and did they call one of the groups "the Yukon Clan"!?! or did I mis-hear?
No, I do not recommend this movie.
