Scream 4 is, honestly, not my type of movie (I accompanied a group of friends), so I'm not really disposed to review it too favorably. In all fairness though, the beginning of the movie certainly met my already low expectations - there was a good helping of suspense, and ample opportunites to scream like a girl in public and get away with it. So far, so good. And then the ending came, and disappointment started setting in. The plot twist was not very believable; and the climactic why-I-did-it speech, both in delivery and the content, was a real yawner. I left the theater wishing that they'd put just a bit more thought into it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
