This movie did not need to be as long as it was for the story it was telling. The Special Effects were excellent in IMAX 3D, however, I would not say - other than them being superb for an animated work - the 3D was any better than U2's 3D movie (where you felt like you could reach out and touch The Edge).
I would recommend this for the form factor experience, but the lack of WOW from the story made it feel a bit off-balanced.
