Too Heavy For Most People

The Lovely Bones deals with significant issues, using thought provoking cinematic devices. Do not see this movie if you are not prepared to think, are depressed, or looking for a brain candy.
I apreciated the movie. Some people will love it and some people will hate. It was extremely well done, but many people will not enjoy it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
