I'm RUINED!

After seeing "Avatar" in IMAX 3-D, I'm ruined for seeing anything in LESS than that format! The movie itself was VERY well done. I was impressed with the battle scenes - amazing conflicts, intense head-to-head action, without the normal exploding bodies, buckets of blood and airborne body parts ... and EVERY bit as effective.
As far as the IMAX 3D Experience -- it is exactly that! I had seats in the highest far-right corner of the theatre and not only was the audio clear, clean and consistent, but the 3D never suffered from not sitting dead center, as necessary in "the old days." It also helped a LOT they didn't "wow" you with the 3D by having missles and arms etc. come "flying out of the screen over the audience” -- it was 3D at its best!
