To begin with, the only way to see this movie and get the maximum experience is in an IMAX theater in the 3D format. If you can get past the liberal and new age messages ingrained in the story, the movie is excellent. The special effects are nothing short of amazing. I didn't understand the purpose of having Sigourney Weaver smoking. It did not fit with her character and given this is a futuristic movie, it didn't make any sense. This is a must see for movie junkies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
